Voyage to El Paso

Boy, was that first flight LONG (4 hours)! Thankfully, we did stimulate our brains before the flight by playing Jenga and the Guinness World Record's longest Uno game. When we got to San Antonio we had to take another flight to El Paso which was the exact opposite of the first flight, the shortest plane ride ever. We were in the air 30 minutes before I thought I heard the pilot say we were about to descend! An hour later and....

FINALLY, we made it to El Paso, TX. Now I can finally go outside in shorts and a t-shirt.....Not quite. It was about 47 degrees outside. We got our 2 huge hummer-looking Suburbans and our quaint little Chevy from the car-rental place and we were off!

When I got to the hostel and got a look at my room, I thought - my isn't this...lovely-.... I room with Marcyanna NOT Maryann and our room had a bunkbed and a sink joined by a bathroom which we shared with other ASB-ers. After our group meeting I volunteered to go grocery shopping (since I can't cook AT all) because I wanted to see more of El Paso.
